Tralee Airport & Getting Around

- Kerry Airport -

Kerry Airport is located 15 kilometres south east of Tralee. It is serviced by short, direct and inexpensive flights from London Stansted and Frankfurt Hahn. It also receives four flights a day from Dublin. Almost all Ryanair flights connect to Kerry through London Stansted. There is a taxi rank at the airport, and transfer to Tralee costs approximately €15-€20.

Travellers can also get to Tralee via bus or train. Both the bus and train stations in Tralee are located on John Joe Sheehy Road. The bus connects to more cities than the train does, but both connect through major locations in Ireland such as Limerick, Cork and Dublin.

General Transport

Travellers will find that the best method of getting around Tralee is on foot. All of the major sights worth seeing are located within a relatively close distance to one another and so pedestrian traffic is common.
